Head Chef Dylan is bringing his homeland flavours of South Africa to Taranaki. An exciting 5 course degustation matched with South African wine.

Chef Dylan will prepare South African delicacies, items such as Bobotie which is a baked spiced mince with a egg topping, and other items as Potjiekos which translates to ‘small pot food’ and is traditionally cooked in a potjie, the potjie descendants from the dutch oven brought from netherlands to South Africa.Most of the ingredients that they will be using are known and used by most kiwis. Each course will be matched with a different wine.

He was born in a town called Richards Bay, and moved to New Zealand with his family in 2007 where they lived in Auckland for just a few months then made the move down to New Plymouth where they have been the rest of their time in here.

Set amongst the beauty and expansive views of Okurukuru this degustation will be memorable and unique.
