Join grower Maria Lempriere and sourdough baker Franziska von Hunerbein for an intimate evening celebrating grain, bread, and the future of local food in Taranaki.

Hear the story of the Taranaki Grain Project – it’s hopes, challenges, and quiet successes – then follow the journey from grain to loaf as freshly milled flour is transformed into sourdough before your eyes.

The evening finishes with a generous, rustic feast: oven fresh breads, seasonal soup, pickles, preserves, and good company. You’ll also head home with a thoughtfully prepared goodie bag, filled with local products from Peihana Farm and Bumblebee Bakery to share with your loved ones.

This is the start of an off-grid/slow food supper club that provides a platform for an intimate experience featuring slow food cooking.
